Comments (17) Welcome to the dark side! You may be wondering why I chose to move here given that it took three years and a bit to build up any kind of following but I’ll try to explain. Since mid-2009 I had been entertaining thoughts of quitting blogging for a variety of reasons – y’know, general burnout, lack of time due to work commitments, you name all the cliché stuff and I probably suffered from it.
I had actually planned to delete the whole blog altogether but eventually thought better of doing something so rash and back to the drawing board it was. In recent months I’ve scaled down the amount of blogging I’ve been doing, concentrating on the ‘Top 100 Seiyuu Everybody Should Know’ series that I started on a whim and I think it was just the tonic I needed. At least it made me remember why I started liking seiyuu in the first place! But I digress.
So what makes what I’m doing here different from the old blog? For one thing I’m no longer alone – accompanying me for the ride this time is friend, cheerleader and oft-collaborator townberry, who used to be lazy on her own blog over on Wordpress.com and now gets the opportunity to be lazy here instead. You can find out more about us individually on the About page.
Naturally with the addition of another author I’ve had to nuke the old blog title and I went for something…a little snappier, a little more ridiculous. Maybe a little too ridiculous? Anyway I won’t guarantee anything in terms of future content but for now I’m working on porting and finishing off posts that were meant for my old blog over here, this includes the ’seiyuu factions’ article I’m still very slowly researching on as well as many others that got stuck in draft purgatory.
