About
The blog name Super Noisy Rice Shower Goes Boom!! (略して スパーブーム/SuperBoom) is an unholy amalgamation of three song titles – Sphere’s Super Noisy Nova, Horie Yui’s Happy Happy Rice Shower and Akiyama Mio (Hikasa Yoko)’s Heart Goes Boom!! The URL mottohadeni.net is the closest thing possible to Tomatsu Haruka’s Motto Hade ni ne! that I could get my hands on. Content-wise there will be a slight bias towards seiyuu coverage, but there’s no real focus as such – expect the odd music, anime and gaming post here and there.

I’m an economics researcher based in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. My passions in life are music, seiyuu, sports (tennis, football, snooker, cricket), reading (non-fiction) and travelling, in that order. I used to run a self-titled, seiyuu-orientated blog for 3 years, first on Blogger and then on http://atemonai.com/blog before moving to this adress. My current goal is to pass my JLPT1 exam by 2011 and I will stop at nothing to achieve that as long as I don’t have to work too hard at it… not surprising, since my life motto is ‘Maximum Output with Minimum Input!’. That said, I always give blogging 110% and will continue to do so for as long as I can afford to pay my internet bill.
As far as seiyuu goes I like loads more people than I can mention, Tomatsu Haruka & Ito Kanae being my numero unos at the moment. Anime/manga wise I’ll try anything – current reading pleasures include Bakuman, Amanchu and Billy Bat (manga) as well as Kino no Tabi and Boogiepop Phantom (light novels), while my anime viewing covers but is not limited to, slice-of-life, shonen and sci-fi shows. I’m also fairly big on anisong (Kajiura Yuki is my favourite composer) though my roots are in acoustic folk, Britpop and J-indie, and I can hammer away fairly badly on the guitar, piano and drums. In short, I like a shitload of things across a shitload of media formats and dear God, I wish there were more than 24 hours in a day.

I’m a project consultant based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. My weird passions in life are killing zombies (53,985 zombies & counting in L4D), ogling pretty left-handed girls, drinking alcohol until I keel over (provided it’s free) and falling in love with stupid people. My ‘normal’ passions are music (composing & performing as well as learning new instruments), watching English Premier League football (or Man Utd games in general) and playing console games. In contrast to j1m0ne I hate travelling – specifically I hate flying and have a phobia of turbulence…I’m thinking perhaps tranquilizers or powerful sleeping pills might help. Nevertheless I’ve still visited quite a few countries despite this rather crippling disability.
My short term goal in life is to get to know certain female seiyuu as their on-screen personalities are amusing (wonder if they act the same in real life?). That’s what I hope to find out, but as to how…さぁね. Long-term, I aim to earn as much money as I can and climb the corporate ladder, eventually ending up as the bigwig of my own multi-national conglomerate. However I’m a lazy blogger and never stay on topic so please don’t expect much, I’m just the sad toilet cleaner on SuperBoom. My old blog can be accessed here.
